Happy Hearts
Tiny crocheted hearts with little faces, each with its own character and mood.
Handmade and heartmade, they are created to touch: to bring joy, comfort or a smile. You can collect them, gift them, or even make your own in a workshop in our colorful studio, creative café or one of our on tour editions. Every heart tells its own story and together they spread softness.
Workshops
Make your own Happy Heart in just 2 hours. No experience needed, only the joy of making. Join a cosy studio session, a café edition, or book a creative event.
Our workshops can be brought to weddings, schools, company teambuilding or other events. Always handmade, always wrapped with love, bringing creativity and connection wherever we go.
Mini heart club
Create & celebrate – just for kids. A Creative club for young makers (8-12). On Wednesday afternoons kids workshops, they learn the basics of crochet and make their very own Happy Heart. Fun, colorful and always wrapped as a little gift to take home. Celebrating birthday parties, children get to create and decorate a heart that’s already crocheted, so everybody goes home with a finished little gift.
Miss Stitch
your creative host of Happy Place to Create. She welcomes you into workshops, introduces the Happy Hearts, and carries the voice of the project.
She stands out with flair, but always brings softness and care, a reminder that creativity is for everyone.
Studio
Visit the Happy Place to Create studio in Haarlem - you’ll find a colorful mix of handmade hearts, Miss Stitch treasures and soft inspiration. Workshops, little gifts and moments of connection are always waiting for you.
Creative Café
Join us at local Coffee Spots in Haarlem – where creativity and coffee come together. In this cozy corner you’ll find yarn, laughter and warm cups filled with coffee and inspiration. Here we host small crochet sessions, share stories, and celebrate handmade joy.

I’m Pascale – maker, dreamer, and the hands behind Happy Hearts.
Hearts have always been my red thread: long before I started crocheting them, I was already drawing them, always with a face, always with feeling. With Happy Place to Create I bring together everything I love: crochet, illustration, comfort, connection, and inspiring others to make with both hands and heart. Miss Stitch is my alter ego and the creative host of this project, she carries the voice, but behind her it’s me, with love and passion.
